We had another exciting night of TKD testing. This time I was a spectator and this time it was in our own dojang. It was a long night of testing, since we hadn't tested since March in our own gym. Up for new ranks were Heather, Kim, Katie, Maddie, Cora, PJ and Amy. Heather went first. It was her very first testing and she did GREAT! She passed with flying colors, earning 3+ out of 4 for most of her techniques. Heather told me before class that she was nervous about her ax kicks. But she practiced a lot and nailed them. Congratulations Heather!! You earned it! Next up was Cora. She also had been practicing a lot in preparation. Cora worked hard to increase her power and I think it showed. She knew her moves and did a great job! Here she is doing back leg, jumping side kick! back kick! Cora earned her green stripe. Congratulations Cora!! It was a long and tiring night of testing. Everyone needed a little break. Especially those who were testing. Austen and Peter and I didn't get to test this night. Next time we will have to test in a different dojang, like I did recently for my red belt. Peter did get to spar with PJ and I with Amy for their testing requirements. Everyone passed!

Many Congrats to Heather and Cora!! They both look great in the pix.... Lots of hard work goes into a new ranking, and they both deserve it hugely!
